3. Solution Design and Delivery
Our structured approach to solution delivery ensures that the technical solution meets your business’ current and evolving IT needs. Following a health-check and the agreement on deliverables, Codec consultants will create a detailed resource and project plan to ensure your project is delivered on time and within budget.

High Level Design:
A detailed overview of the current IT environment is documented to ensure that the technical and detailed user requirements are aligned with the overall project.
Our project team will work to establish an initial technical design estimating the cost of the project in terms of hardware and software development, before revising the documentation to create the technical design.
Using AGILE project management (an iterative and incremental method of managing the design and build activities for engineering, information technology, and new product or service development projects); Codec ensures that the solution remains technically robust as errors of any kind will be detected earlier and users will be able to identify issues or changes earlier (Issue and Quality Management Framework).
Codec works with the client to develop test strategies and plans in terms of UAT. Using AGILE project management and a “scrum” development model; the customer resource working on the project will perform the requirement test scripts to ensure all items function / appear as expected.
At the end of each sprint, all developed requirements within the 30-Day Sprint Cycle are demonstrated to the customer Business Decision Maker (BDM), Key Users, Subject Mater Experts (SMEs) and Project Manager. Each requirement is reviewed, and signed-off / approved, rejected, or has Change Requests raised against it which are fed back into the Solution backlog for possible inclusion in a future Sprint Cycle.
The training team finalizes the training guides and conducts end user training sessions. In the Quality and Testing cross phase, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is executed. Upon successful completion of UAT by Key Users, a business go/no-go decision is made on whether to proceed with the go-live or to defer until any critical issues are resolved.

The infrastructure and technical teams prepare the production environment for the cutover tasks that lead to the go-live state. Required configurations and tweaks may be made, and performance tuning maybe performed if necessary.
